Replacement of glow lamps of devices of external lighting

Treat devices of system of lighting: headlights, fog lights, back lamps, stoplights, backing lamps, indexes of turns, foggy lamps, lamps of illumination of registration plate and devices of internal lighting.

Exit of the glow lamp is out of operation displayed on the universal display. (Information system of the driver (FIS)).

There is a danger of traumatizing!

Be careful when replacing xenon lamps of high voltage in headlights! Just in case switch off a headlight and disconnect the rechargeable battery. After replacement quickly switch on and off a headlight to remove residual stress. For reasons of safety you wear shoes with rubber soles.

Glow lamps and holders of lamps can be very hot. Therefore before replacement of glow lamps wait for cooling of the lighting fixture.

You store lamps in the place, inaccessible for children.

Do not apply the fallen lamps or lamps with scratches, they can burst.

The glass flask of the glow lamp should not be taken hands. It is the for this purpose best of all to use napkins or cotton gloves. Fingerprints evaporate and besieged on a reflector, obscuring it. Incidentally formed spots on a flask need to be removed by means of the pure, not containing fibers, the towel moistened in alcohol.

Glow lamps need to be replaced only with lamps of the same execution.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Switch off ignition and the switch of a headlight.

Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery.

Observe indications of the Section Replacement of the Rechargeable Battery.

Passing beam

Right headlight: Disconnect the top cover of the engine, and also an air duct between the forward panel and the air filter. Left headlight: Remove a headlight, address appropriate section. Uncover a reverse side of a headlight. For this purpose take away a wire bracket from a cover.
Galogenovy lamp: Disunite the socket (2), take away a wire bracket and remove a lamp (3).
Xenon lamp: Turn the plug (1) counterclockwise and remove. Release wire brackets (arrows on an accompanying illustration) and take out a lamp from the case.
Insert a new lamp into the case, record it a bracket and join the socket. Establish a cover from a reverse side of a headlight and record a bracket. Further installation is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal.

Driving/parking light

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Right headlight: Disconnect the top cover of the engine, and also an air duct (subsection "Passing beam").
Left headlight: Disunite sockets over a headlight, unblock the holder and remove him upward.
Uncover driving beam a reverse side of a headlight. For this purpose take away a wire bracket from a cover.

Galogenovy headlight: Turn the electric motor of adjustment of range of light, remove from a headlight and put aside.

At a right headlight turn counterclockwise (an arrow on an accompanying illustration), at a left headlight clockwise.

Parking light / xenon headlight: Turn the electric motor of adjustment of range of light, remove from a headlight and put aside.

Driving beam: Disunite the socket (3), release a bracket (2) and take out a lamp (1) from the case. Insert a new lamp, record it a bracket and join the socket.

Parking light: Release lock pads and take out a cartridge (the shooter on an accompanying illustration) from the case. Take out a lamp from the boss, replace it with new and insert a cartridge into the case.

Install the electric motor of adjustment of range of light from a reverse side of a headlight, establish into place a cover of a headlight and record it a bracket.
Further installation is carried out in the sequence, the return to removal.

Press a lamp into a cartridge, turn and take out. Replace a lamp new and insert a cartridge into the case. Establish into place a headlight, address the Section Removal and installation of headlights.
