- Check oil level in the engine, if necessary, add.
- Warm up the engine up to the working temperature. For this purpose pass on the car until the fan of a radiator does not turn on, and then again it will not be switched off.

Diesel engine of 1.9 l: Remove the top cover of the engine, address the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine / the lower protection of a motive compartment / stretcher.

- Turn out the sensor of pressure of oil (2) on a flange of an oil filter and screw the device for check (And).
|
|
- Screw the device instead of pressure sensor in the holder of an oil filter.
- Connect a brown wire (1) of the device to weight(s).
- Attach a control diode lamp to positive contact of the battery (+) and to the oil pressure relay. The light-emitting diode should not light up.
- If the light-emitting diode lights up, replace the oil pressure relay.

If the light-emitting diode does not light up
|
- Start the engine.
|
During start of a starter you watch a light-emitting diode since the point of turning on of the sensor of pressure can be passed already at start. |

Petrol engine: With a pressure of oil of 1.2 - 1.6 atm. the light-emitting diode has to light up, otherwise the sensor of pressure needs to be replaced.

Diesel engine of 1.9 l: With a pressure of oil of 0.55 - 0.85 atm. the light-emitting diode has to light up, otherwise the sensor of pressure needs to be replaced.

Diesel engine of 2.5 l: With a pressure of oil of 0.75 - 1.05 atm. the light-emitting diode has to light up, otherwise the sensor of pressure needs to be replaced.

Check of pressure of oil
|
- Start the engine on single turns. Remove value of pressure of oil from the device and compare it to the value given in Specifications.
- Increase speed to 2000 rpm. Read out value of pressure of oil from the device and compare it to the value given in Specifications.

If the required value of pressure of oil is not reached
|
- Check existence of mechanical damages to the engine, for example, damage of bearings of a bent shaft (work HUNDRED).
- If necessary, replace the holder of an oil filter with the safety valve or the oil pump.
|
At increase in speed of the engine of pressure of oil should not exceed 7.0 atm. Otherwise check oil channels. If necessary, replace the holder of an oil filter with the safety valve. |
