Removal and installation of the radio receiver / navigation device / CD changer

Radio receiver

Depending on model various audio systems can be installed in the AUDI A4 car. The serial radio receiver is equipped with the radio receiver with the sliding holder allowing bystry renting and installation of the radio receiver. For this purpose however, the special exhaust tool sold a set with the radio receiver is required.

For removal of the radio receiver, the navigation device or a CD changer established at the plant 2 or 4 keys of T10057 AUDI are required.

The serial radio receiver has the coding for protection against breaking. The coding interferes with unauthorized turning on of the device if its food was interrupted. Food can be broken at, for example, disconnection from the rechargeable battery, at removal of the radio receiver or if the safety lock fused.

The AUDI radio systems are coded from the control panel. Therefore at a detachment and the subsequent accession of food or at removal and installation of the same radio receiver input of a code is not required.

If the radio receiver installed later before a detachment of the radio receiver is coded it is necessary to find out a code. Otherwise the radio receiver can be switched on only by the manufacturer. Number of a code is provided in the operation manual on the radio receiver. It is not necessary to store it in the car.
